Competition Overview

We invite talented designers, artists, and creative minds to participate in the "Muslim Ummah of Bangladesh Logo Design Competition 2024". This competition aims to create a versatile, symbolic, and meaningful logo that reflects the unity, culture, and values of the Muslim community in Bangladesh. The winning logo will be used across digital profiles, stationery, merchandise, bottles, and a wide range of other products, making it a symbol of identity for the Muslim Ummah of Bangladesh.

Logo Design Criteria

  1. Theme & Concept
    • The logo should symbolize the essence of the Muslim Ummah of Bangladesh, emphasizing Islamic values, culture, and traditions while maintaining a sense of unity and harmony.
    • Incorporate elements that are representative of the Muslim community, such as Islamic symbols (crescent moon, mosque, minaret), but do so subtly and innovatively.
  2. Design Specifications
    • Color Scheme: Use a color palette that reflects Islamic culture (e.g., green, white, and neutral tones). Avoid overly bright or flashy colors.
    • Typography: If the logo includes text, it should be clear and professional, with an option to include both English and Bangla script.
    • The design must be adaptable for various platforms, from social media profiles to physical products like bottles, t-shirts, and stationery.
  3. Technical Requirements
    • Submit the logo in formats suitable for both digital and print use: JPEG, PNG, and SVG.
    • Native Vector Files (AI, EPS, SVG, SVG JPG, PDF, TIFF)
      1. Transparent PNG
      2. Vertical, Horizontal, and Simplified Versions
      3. Stationery Pack (Print Ready)
      4. 3D Mockup
    • Ensure the design is scalable, retaining clarity in both large and small sizes.
    • Provide a high-resolution version (minimum 300 dpi) and versions for colored and monochrome use.
  4. Eligibility
    • Open to all Bangladeshi citizens aged 15 and above.
    • Both individual and team submissions are accepted (maximum 3 members per team).
  5. Submission Guidelines
    • Each participant or team can submit up to 2 designs.
    • Along with the design, include a brief description (maximum 200 words) explaining the concept and inspiration.
    • Submit entries via the specified email : muslimummahofbangladesh@gmail.com
    • The deadline for submission is 20th December, 2024.
  6. Judging Criteria
    • Relevance to Theme: How well the design aligns with the concept of the Muslim Ummah of Bangladesh.
    • Originality: The design must be unique and free from any copyright infringement.
    • Creativity: Innovative use of Islamic symbolism and design elements.
    • Visual Appeal: Overall aesthetic quality, balance, and clarity of the design.
    • Scalability: The logo should maintain quality across various applications and sizes.
  7. Prizes & Recognition
    • Winner: A cash prize of 10,000 taka, a certificate of recognition, and the opportunity for the logo to be officially adopted by the Muslim Ummah of Bangladesh.
  8. Terms & Conditions
    • By participating, designers agree to transfer full rights of the logo to the Muslim Ummah of Bangladesh if selected as the winner.
    • The organizing committee reserves the right to make minor modifications to the winning design for adaptability.
    • The decision of the judges is final, with no appeals.

Scope of Logo Usage

The winning logo will be featured in the following applications:

  • Digital Platforms: Social media profiles, website headers, mobile apps, and digital presentations.
  • Stationery: Letterheads, business cards, pens, notebooks, and stamps.
  • Merchandise & Apparel: T-shirts, hoodies, caps, tote bags, and more.
  • Drinkware: water bottles, coffee mugs, tumblers, and flasks.
  • Promotional Items: Keychains, wristbands, phone cases, and calendars.
  • Print & Event Materials: Brochures, banners, posters, and event tickets.
  • Packaging: product boxes, paper bags, labels, and wrapping paper.
  • Signage & Outdoor Media: Billboards, vehicle branding, and event signage.
